Marty has spent over thirty-five years servicing the needs of Military and Aerospace customers. Marty along with his business partner, Paul Hilfer, founded XTREME Semiconductor in 2004 to serve the unique needs of military and aerospace customers, who require trailing edge technology and obsolete product support. In 2014, XREME Semiconductor completed the acquisition PowerTech. PowerTech is a USA manufacturer of High Power Silicon NPN Transistors to the military and aerospace markets. As Managing Partner of PowerTech, Marty is responsible for developing new markets and customer for PowerTech products. Before starting XTREME Semiconductor in 2004, Marty served as Director of Sales for Maxwell Technologies, a leading supplier of Radiation Hardened Space qualified semiconductor products. Prior to joining Maxwell, Marty spent eight years with Austin Semiconductor, a supplier of high reliability semiconductor components for military and aerospace applications where he served as Vice President of New Business Development and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The prior twelve years, Marty spent in various management level positions with Motorola, Fairchild, and General Semiconductor. Marty holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from San Diego State University with an emphasis in Marketing.
