About Ralph Tuttle

Ralph Tuttle, is the Applications Engineering Manager at Cree, Inc. in Durham, NC. He has been with Cree for 22 years. Prior to managing Applications Engineering he held various engineering, development, and management positions in the Materials, Optoelectronics, and Components groups at Cree. He managed Cree's wafer fab and was then involved in the original development of Cree's XLamp product family. Ralph is active within NEMA, IESNA, ANSI and is a US "LED Expert" representative to the IEC. Ralph was co-author of IESNA LM-80 (Measuring LED Lumen Maintenance), was the Technical Coordinator of the IESNA TM-21 (Projecting LED Lumen Maintenance) Working Group and is currently the Technical Coordinator of the IESNA TM-31 (Projecting LED Chromaticity Shift) Working Group. He has BS and MBA degrees and prior to joining Cree, worked in the semiconductor industry for 20 years.
