About the Editor

Michael G. Pecht is a Chair Professor and the Director of the Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering (CALCE) at the University of Maryland, USA. He earned his PhD in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, USA, and has authored more than 40 books and more than 900 technical articles. He is a world-renowned expert in strategic planning, design, testing, and risk assessment of electronics and information systems.
