Abstract:

Worldwide sales of electronics promise to reach $1 trillion shortly. A major portion consists of sales of volume driven electronic products, such as computers, telecommunication products, and consumer products. A smaller, but still vitally important portion, however, consists of low volume complex electronic systems for critical applications such as avionics, automotive electronic, and energy development.
