The Small Appliance and Computer Industry: Do They Forget Reliability Lessons?

Summary and Conclusions Too many failures have occurred in various small appliances and computers during their first six months of use. This high number of failures undermines my belief in the reliability of modern small appliances. Some of the small appliance manufacturers should examine and improve their design, components, production, and reliability methods.
