Abstract:
Electronic products constitute ever increasing segments of the necessities and conveniences of modern society. Their current use span computer, telecommunications, military/aerospace, industrial, instrumentation, consumer products, business/retail, and automotive markets.While the current market share is dominated by the first three product groups, other markets, such as automotive electronics, are poised for significant future growth. Cost, size, and weight are often the primary constraints on the thermal and physical design of electronic products.
