What Research Is Underway To Advance R&M Automation For Electronics?  Presentation and Workshop Discussion

M. Pecht

Introduction:

The design of electronics presents many interesting and challenging research problems.  The problem areas guiding research and development in R&M CAE for electronics were identified in previous sessions.  In this session, three principal areas of research were discussed: analysis & prediction tools & techniques, system development, and specialized CAE tools and techniques.  There were four speakers: Donald Reese, Wright- Patterson AFB; Mary Nash, Pacific Numerics; Beverly Roan, Integraph; Larry Phaller, Westinghouse Defense Electronics Center.  Michael Pecht moderated this session.
